The terms, in plain words.

These terms apply when you download, buy or use Deskswap. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the app. The Privacy Policy and Refund Policy are part of these terms.

Buying Deskswap gets you a personal license key to use the app on one Mac at a time. To move it to another Mac, deactivate it in Deskswap → General on the old one first.

The license is for your own use. Please don't share or resell your key, publish it, or get around the license check. Deskswap itself stays ours: the license lets you use the app, it doesn't sell you the software.

Deskswap is sold through Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record, which handles payment, taxes and receipts. Prices are shown before you pay, and a purchase is a one-time payment, not a subscription.

You can get a full refund within 7 days of buying, as described in the Refund Policy. A refund or a lost chargeback turns off the license key.

Deskswap changes your Mac's setup when you swap desks. Depending on how you set up a desk, it moves Desktop files into a folder on the same Mac, changes your wallpaper, Focus and Dock, and opens or quits apps. It quits apps the normal way, so an app with unsaved work can ask you first.

Deskswap is built never to delete your files, and Home, Restore original setup and Uninstall Deskswap always work, even without a license. Still, keep regular backups of your Mac, for example with Time Machine. No software can promise to be free of bugs.

Some features rely on parts of macOS that Apple doesn't officially support, such as hiding Desktop icons or changing the Dock. A macOS update can stop them working until Deskswap is updated.

We may release updates that fix problems or change features. Your license covers every update to the major version you bought, such as every 1.x release, at no extra cost.

Apart from the refund guarantee, Deskswap is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows. We don't promise it will be error-free, work with every Mac or macOS version, or meet every need.

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost data, lost work or lost profits, from using or not being able to use Deskswap. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for your license.

You can stop using Deskswap at any time. We may turn off a license key that has been refunded, charged back, shared or used against these terms.

These terms don't take away rights you have under consumer law where you live. Where local law gives you more protection, it applies.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.
